Excelerate transforms 94ft Sunseaker

M/Y Excelerate Z was a 13 year old Sunseeker 94 in beautiful condition and mechanically excellent but still using its original bridge systems with lots of other things added over the years which made this element extremely dated, inefficient and very unfriendly and inconsistent to use. The Excelerate Marine Team gave her a much-needed upgrade and the results are startling.

Whilst Z can’t be turned into a new yacht, the Excelerate Team have upgraded her technology, Navigation, AV & Entertainment systems, Safety & Security, IT and Communications & Connectivity.

The importance of connectivity for everything from business applications to social media, entertainment and downloadable or streaming content has never been so crucial.

4G is important for connectivity on-board a yacht, but because there are still significant geographical areas

where there is no 4G and never will be, to achieve a guaranteed broadband connection satellite broadband is also required.

M/Y Excelerate Z has undergone a significant communications upgrade and now utilises a combination of Ka and Ku satellite networks as well as 4G keeping everyone online, at the optimum cost.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer ultimate choice and flexibility in mobile connectivity and can deliver extended range and better performance to off-shore environments – all of which has been tried & tested on-board M/Y Excelerate Z.

 

UPGRADED BRIDGE & NAVIGATION

The Excelerate Team have totally transformed a 13 year old bridge into a modern and sleek design. This was achieved by replacing the tired wood effect with carbon fibre and new high-resolution screens.

The newly fitted Garmin navigation solution pulls all of the yachts important navigation, safety and security systems and information together and can show and operate multiple solutions such as radar, chart, autopilot, wind depth on any or all of the four screens neatly integrated into the lower and flybridge helm. The screens also have Excelerate’s Digital Dashboard Management Interface integrated so that other functionality on-board from connectivity, to AV to lighting can all be controlled from the Garmin screens as well as mobile devices remotely such as iPhone’s and iPads.

SMART LIGHTING & ENTERTAINMENT

Our new lighting upgrade on-board M/Y Excelerate Z has fully delivered on mood, ambiance and atmosphere. Mood lighting is a cost-effective solution and can be used to add energy & alertness or create a calming environment in which to sit back and relax.

New HD and UHD TV’s have also been installed with the addition of SKY HD providing all SKY TV channels as well as all downloadable and catch-up services including BBC iPlayer.
